As a youngster, Jeremy A. Dauber sat around the table with his family and listened to them laugh at jokes about … themselves. So it’s no surprise that Jeremy would grow up to be interested in the history of Jewish comedy.
A New Jersey native, Jeremy graduated from Harvard University and did his doctoral work at Oxford. He is a Professor at Columbia University where he shares his research on Yiddish Language, Jewish Literature, and American Jewish Culture.
He’s even written several books on the subject … and most important, he can tell a funny joke!
