Capricorn Clark, who worked for Sean “Diddy” Combs from 2004 to 2012 and later as a marketing director and creative director for Cassie Ventura, testified on May 27, 2025, during Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial in Manhattan. Her testimony included several serious allegations:

  • Threats and Intimidation: Clark stated that Combs threatened her life multiple times, starting on her first day in 2004, when he learned she had previously worked for Suge Knight, a rival, and told her he would kill her if anything happened related to Knight.
  • Kidnapping Incidents: She testified that Combs kidnapped her twice. In December 2011, an enraged Combs, armed with a gun, forced her to accompany him to rapper Kid Cudi’s (Scott Mescudi) home, intending to confront him over his relationship with Cassie Ventura, Combs’ on-and-off girlfriend. Clark was made to wait in a Cadillac Escalade while Combs and a bodyguard entered Cudi’s house.

She called Ventura to warn her, and after a car chase, Combs threatened to kill Clark, Ventura, and Cudi if Cudi reported the break-in to police. Another incident in 2004 involved Clark being locked in a Manhattan building for five days and subjected to lie detector tests over missing jewelry, with threats of being “thrown into the East River.”
  • Witnessing Abuse: Clark testified that she witnessed Combs violently assault Ventura in 2011, kicking her repeatedly while she was curled in a fetal position, after learning of her relationship with Cudi. She was too scared to intervene but called Ventura’s mother for help, stating, “He’s beating the s— out of your daughter.”
  • Work Environment: Clark described grueling 19-hour workdays, earning $65,000 annually with unpaid overtime, and being tasked with procuring drugs like ecstasy and cocaine for Combs, despite personal trauma from her mother’s cocaine-related death. She also set up hotel rooms for Combs’ “freak-offs,” drug-fueled sexual encounters.
  • Career Impact: After being fired in 2012, allegedly due to her knowledge of Ventura’s relationship with Cudi, Clark was blacklisted from the entertainment industry, unable to secure jobs despite a settlement requiring Combs to provide a recommendation letter, which he never signed.

Her emotional testimony, marked by tears, supported the prosecution’s charges against Combs, including racketeering, sex trafficking, and kidnapping, to which he has pleaded not guilty
