STEVE ALMOND

GREAT TITLES and BAD STORIES

We met up with Steve Almond to talk about what he’s been up to lately. We knew of him from his four years on South Beach as a journalist for Miami New Times – that was back in the 90s, when South Beach wasn’t what it now is.

Well, Steve has done a lot! He wrote books that made the New York Times Best Seller list. His essays appeared in Magazines, Newspapers, and anthologies. He taught non-fiction to Fellows in a Cambridge (Massachusetts) Fellowship Program. He served as an adjunct Professor in creative writing at Boston College. He’s a correspondent on NPR.

But his impressive resume was not what the conversation he had with Stewart was about. It was about eye-catching Book Titles and Bad Stories.
