Last year, New York’s Governor Hochul signed the New York’s ADULT SURVISORS ACT. Today, November 24, 2023, is the last day when a sexual assault lawsuit could be filed in some states of the United States. In order to beat the deadline for filing, multiple lawsuits alleging sexual assault were filed in New York this week against prominent figures. Sued were Andrew Cuomo, Cuba Gooding, Jamie Foxx, Axl Rose, NYC Mayor Eric Adams and Sean “Diddy” Combs (to name just a few)…

The lawsuits came before this week’s expiration of the temporary Adult Survivors Act. The Adult Survivors Act is a law behind several high-profile sexual assault lawsuits in New York.
