Winter Park | FLORIDA: Madeline Soto was reported missing on February 26, 2024. Stephan Michael Sterns, her mother’s boyfriend is facing 60 new charges, but none of the charges are for her murder.
The charges against the individual include sexual battery and possession of illicit child pornography material on his cell phone of images he took of himself while violating Madeline Soto. The images date back to when she was in her preadolescence. Although Sterns has not been charged with Madeline’s murder, he is described as the prime suspect in her disappearance and death.
Madeline was reported missing on February 26 and her body was found on March 1, 2024.
