Three brothers whose names became prominent in New York and Miami luxury real estate were each sentenced to 30 years in federal prison on October 27, 2026, for their roles in a yearslong sex-trafficking and sexual-abuse scheme. U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni imposed the sentences in Manhattan on Tal Alexander, 40, and twins Oren and Alon Alexander, 39.

A federal jury convicted the three men on March 9 after a six-week trial. The convictions included conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and additional federal sex offenses. Prosecutors had requested life sentences, while defense lawyers argued for shorter terms and continued to dispute the allegations.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, the scheme operated from approximately 2008 through 2021. Prosecutors presented evidence that the defendants used invitations to exclusive events, travel and luxury accommodations to bring women to locations where they were drugged, sexually assaulted or raped. The government’s account included offenses against minors.

Alon Alexander was sentenced for participating in the trafficking conspiracy, trafficking and enticing one victim, trafficking a minor, and sexually abusing and aggravatedly sexually abusing another victim. His sentence includes 10 years of supervised release and a $300,000 fine.

Oren Alexander was sentenced for participating in the conspiracy, trafficking and enticing one victim, sexually abusing and aggravatedly sexually abusing another victim, and sexually exploiting a minor. His sentence includes 10 years of supervised release and a $300,000 fine.

Tal Alexander was sentenced for participating in the conspiracy, trafficking one victim, trafficking and enticing another, trafficking a minor, and trafficking and enticing a further victim. His sentence includes 10 years of supervised release and a $350,000 fine.

Tal and Oren had worked as high-profile real-estate brokers, while Alon worked in the family’s security business. The government argued that wealth and professional connections helped facilitate the crimes. Those findings concern the three convicted defendants; allegations against other people or companies in separate civil cases are not criminal convictions.

At the sentencing hearing, women described the effects of the assaults. The defendants maintained their innocence. The 30-year prison terms were below the life sentences sought by prosecutors. The case was investigated by the FBI-NYPD Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force.
