The plaintiff, an Air Force veteran and single mother of four, claims that Cook, the owner and CEO of Frontier Logistics L.P., exploited her financial vulnerability by offering career incentives in exchange for a personal relationship.
According to the petition, Jane Doe first encountered George Cook in May 2019 at Gordon Westergren’s ranch, where she served as Westergren’s personal assistant during a challenging career transition. Cook, holding a prominent leadership role at Frontier, allegedly identified her precarious situation and positioned himself as a mentor while discussing potential employment opportunities at his company.
The relationship allegedly developed into a quid-pro-quo dynamic shortly after, with Cook promising assistance at Frontier in return for romantic or sexual involvement. Plaintiff asserts that following an initial encounter, she received a job interview that did not result in formal employment, yet she left her prior position at Cook’s direction to provide direct support to him and Frontier, including receiving a company badge granting her unrestricted office access and performing errands and accompanying him on business trips.
The petition details the onset of alleged physical violence in September 2023 during a Frontier business trip involving Cook, Plaintiff, and a company lawyer, when Cook purportedly pushed her in a parking garage after accusing her of being too friendly with the attorney, resulting in a back injury requiring chiropractic care. In October 2023, Cook allegedly punched her in the throat at her home and left a $200,000 check on her dresser in an apparent attempt to secure her silence regarding the incident.
Further alleged assaults occurred in November 2023, including Cook slamming his face into hers and violently pulling her hair, causing significant pain and hair loss the next day, as documented in photographs. By December 2023, after a birthday party, Cook reportedly pushed her into a vehicle and strangled her, leading Plaintiff to seek urgent care while initially attributing her injuries to a car door to protect him due to fear and financial dependence.
In early 2024, the alleged abuse escalated with Cook punching Plaintiff in the mouth and choking her, leaving visible bruises, and in February 2024, punching her in the eye, causing a permanent scar under her left eye along with facial bruising, which she documented with time-stamped photos. Plaintiff claims she visited a plastic surgeon in April 2024 to assess permanent damage and activated audio recordings capturing Cook’s rage during incidents, while also enduring smashed phones, damaged property, and continued physical attacks even when ill.
The systematic alleged violence persisted into 2025 until Plaintiff left after being slapped in the face at Cook’s residence. She reports ongoing severe mental anguish, emotional trauma, and loss of trust, fearing for future relationships. The lawsuit brings claims of civil assault against Cook, negligence and gross negligence against both Defendants, intentional infliction of emotional distress against Cook, and respondeat superior liability for Frontier Logistics L.P., seeking compensatory and punitive damages exceeding $25 million in total, along with other relief.
The Plaintiff’s Original Petition was filed on January 22, 2026, by The Buzbee Law Firm on behalf of Jane Doe, with attorneys Anthony G. Buzbee, Thomas Colby Holler, and Hall Sasnett listed, demanding a jury trial. George Cook may be served at his residence in Crosby, Texas, while Frontier Logistics L.P. is headquartered in La Porte, Texas, and represented through its registered agent; the filing occurred in the District Court of Harris County under District Clerk Marilyn Burgess, processed by Rhonda Momon.
