After 16-year-old Margot Kim (Michelle La) goes missing, a local investigation is opened, and decorated Detective Rosemary Vick (Debra Messing) takes on the case. Thirty-seven hours later, without a single lead, Margot’s father David Kim (John Cho) goes into Margot’s laptop to search for clues.

What makes this creative, innovative, twist & turn mystery so compelling is that most of the scenes take place on Margot Kim’s computer screen. Seeing her Text messages, Facebook posts, Emails, Instagram photos on a big movie screen, we, the audience, join Margot’s dad as he unravels the hidden life his daughter has led since the death of her mother six months earlier. We jump to conclusions along with him. And we are just a few steps behind him in the surprise ending.

So, to sum up our impression of SEARCHING, “When a film totally involves us in the plot and keeps us in suspense until the very end, that’s entertainment!
