In the back of everyone’s mind there is the reality that Queen Camilla is only queen because Princess Diana died tragically in a car accident in Paris. Camilla is the King’s wife, but the world has not forgotten that Camilla was Charles mistress all the while he was married to Princess Diana.
The very idea that she is the queen is still a problem for Diana’s sons and for the tiny Princess Charlotte who when expected to, will not curtsey as Camilla passes by.
And a long-term argument between King Charles and Prince Andrew continues… As of now, Prince Andrew is still residing in the 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park. Despite King Charles’s efforts to have him move out, Prince Andrew has been resistant to the idea. The King has reportedly offered Frogmore Cottage, previously occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as an alternative residence. However, Prince Andrew has expressed concerns about the financial implications of maintaining the Royal Lodge without his brother’s support.
