Pan Con Bistec “Steak Sandwiches”


2 lbs. of filet mignon (tenderized to 1/3 of inch)
2 take and back French bread
Lysanders meat rub
Olive oil
1 small onion
1 beef steak tomato
pixie sticks potato chips

Preparation Instructions:

1. Season meat with Lysanders meat rub.
2. Allow meat to sit out to reach room temperature.
3. Drizzle olive oil on take and bake bread.
4. Cut one slit in the middle of the bread (allows dough to breathe) Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
5. Heat pan with olive oil, lower to medium heat.
6. Slice onions into long strings and sauté in pan until translucent.
7. Add steak to pan. Brown both sides for 5 to 7 minutes.
8. Remove steak from heat and allow to cool.
9. Remove bread from oven.
10. Slice in half, add steak, tomatoes, and onions; top with pixie sticks potato chips.
