This article is about an action under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. § 552. The Plaintiff is the Southeastern Legal Foundation, Inc. (SLF). The (SLF) filed a lawsuit to force the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), to produce records responsive to their FOIA request, dated June 9, 2022.
The FOIA request was filed October 30, 2023. It seeks copies of all emails in three separate email accounts. The emails were created for the current president Joseph Biden while he held the role of Vice President of the United States. All emails sent or received through these accounts were preserved by (NARA).
