TIFFANY HENYARD BLOCKED BY JUDGE
BY RUTHIE DITUCCI
Recently, Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard has been involved in several significant events. A Cook County judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking her appointments of a new police chief, village administrator, and village attorney. This ruling came after opposition from the Dolton Board of Trustees, who argued that Henyard lacked the legal authority to make these appointments without their approval.
Additionally, a township meeting involving Henyard turned contentious, leading to police intervention. The meeting, which focused on the budget, saw heated exchanges between Henyard, locals, and trustees.
Henyard is also reportedly under investigation by the FBI for alleged misconduct and corruption in her roles as mayor and Thornton Township Supervisor. This investigation has been ongoing for nearly two years, highlighting the controversies surrounding her tenure.
The outrageous and audacious reason Henyard brought two criminal defense attorneys to the board meeting was to have them evaluate the conduct of “members of the board” to identify if any members of the board violated municipal law.
The issue that likely led up to Tiffany Henyard’s absence is that former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, was hired by the Dolton’s Board to examine Dolton’s books and create a report. Once the report was submitted and presented publicly, Henyard’s whereabouts have been unknown. The report is below:
Henyard is the Mayor of Dolton, Illinois. The date she stopped being seen publicly isn’t certain. Information on her exact disappearance date varies, but the situation has been ongoing for some time.
As a prominent local figure, Henyard is known for her role as the mayor. Her sudden disappearance has raised significant concern among the community and local authorities. Details about the circumstances of her disappearance may include potential leads or investigations being conducted, but specifics may be limited in public reports to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Local law enforcement, along with potentially state and federal agencies, are involved in the search and investigation. Public appeals for information and updates are often issued to gather leads.
