hOME INVADED IN MANATEE COUNTY

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, a homeowner in the River Club community in Bradenton, Florida, shot at two intruders who were breaking into his home on Hickory Hammock Circle.



The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. on December 27, 2024.


Jorge Nestevan Flores-Toldeo AKA Anibal Miller-Valencia died on the way to the hospital.

 Michel Soto-Mella, 39, was tracked down by K9 dogs and arrested a few blocks from the house. He is in custody.

The homeowner, alerted by his video surveillance system, confronted the intruders and fired multiple shots, hitting one of them. The injured intruder was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where he later died. The second intruder fled the scene but was later apprehended by deputies with the help of K9 units.

The deceased intruder has been identified as Jorge Nestevan Flores-Toldeo, he is also known as Anibal Miller-Valencia. He is from Mexico and the other suspect is still being investigated.
