FAKE SUNPASS WEBSITE

Scammers targeting SunPass users by sending email containing a link to a fake page.

Here’s what to look out for:

• The emails are coming from the account: [email protected].
• The sender is “Sun Pass Collections Inc.” and “Linebargar Goggen Blaiir, LLP”
• The notices also include a link to an invoice.
• The scammers threaten that if you don’t pay you’ll be summoned to court within 30 days.

FDOT says none of this is associated with the department. They also want to remind you that while the Florida Turnpike Enterprise does use email to communicate with customers it does not send toll invoices through email. Those are only sent by U.S. mail.
