Jennifer Lopez says her mother was a narcissist
In the Netflix Documentary Jennifer Lopez is looking back on her childhood. In Jennifer’s Netflix documentary “Halftime,” the “Hustlers” actress looked back at her relationship with her mother Guadalupe.
Jennifer claims that the matriarch used to “beat” her when she was little.
“She did what she had to do to survive, and it made her strong, but it also made her tough. She beat the shit out of us,” Jennifer shared.
Jennifer claims her mother was a narcissist and had to be the center of attention and the life of the party. The actress says her mother had to control everything at all times.

Ben Affleck and his former wife, Jennifer Garner, share three children. As a couple, the two actors have always placed their children’s well-being above any professional or commercial success. Affleck has struggled with substance and alcohol abuse for decades, and his former wife often checked him back into rehab. Despite these struggles, the couple remains the best of friends.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunited and went ahead with their canceled wedding from 20 years ago. As expected, the wedding was elaborate, a far cry from what Affleck would prefer. Affleck and his family and friends were quite impressed and surprised by JLo’s fame, as they couldn’t go out for a sandwich without being met by a screaming crowd.
Once married, Affleck realized that an entire crew orchestrated JLo’s daily itinerary with the paparazzi, ensuring they knew exactly where JLo was and “who” she was wearing. Affleck, who prefers his privacy, was not pleased because that crew was almost always in their home.

It’s not a minor matter that Homeland Security and the FBI requested search warrants to go through Sean Combs’ homes simultaneously. Many people are meeting with authorities and revealing details about Sean Combs’ life and the many crimes he engaged in, including the nightclub shooting. Jennifer Lopez may have put that decades-old event behind her, but Sean Combs’ victims have not.

If Affleck had remained with JLo, he would have been “smearing” his children’s legacy with the past JLO shared with Sean Combs. By ending his relationship with JLo immediately, he saved his family and friends from any involvement with JLO and Sean Combs’ past.
Sadly, while it is not surprising that Jennifer has become her mother. Ben Affleck had no room for any of it. He really had enough and of course wishes JLO the best.
