Cris “Cyborg” Justino may be the only woman capable of beating UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, and she is ready to take the fight to Rowdy, both inside and outside the Octagon.

Rousey dominated Bethe Correia in a 34-second knockout victory at UFC 190 last Saturday, after which she made some disparaging remarks regarding Cyborg.

Bethe Correia, Christiane Justino, Miesha Tate and others are making the Mixed Martial Art arena a very attractive and interesting fighting cage.

Ronda laughs at herself over a sexual gaffe. It was totally by accident but good sport that she is, she just cracked herself up.

Rousey said…  “I’m prepared to deal with anything. That’s why I’m the champ,” she said. “I fight in the UFC 135-pound division. [Cyborg] can fight at 145 pumped full of steroids and she can make weight just like everybody else without them.”

Cyborg Justino is actually a very lovely woman in her own right.

Cyborg, who currently competes for Invicta FC, took offense to the comments. In fact, the 30-year-old Brazilian threatened legal action:

At the same time, Cyborg offered a potential compromise with regard to weight in hopes of making a long-awaited clash with Rousey a reality:

The 28-year-old Rousey is 12-0 in her professional career with only one fight lasting beyond the first round. Cyborg—Invicta FC women’s featherweight titleholder—is 14-1 with a no-contest, although she hasn’t lost since 2005.

CYBORG

There is no shortage of bad blood between the two competitors, which is why Rousey vs. Cyborg may be the biggest dream fight remaining in the UFC. The organization’s president, Dana White, is well aware of the potential gold mine he’s sitting on, per Wade Keller of MMA Torch:

“The problem is, the potential fight will almost surely never happen,” For the Win’s Mike Foss said. “The first issue is Justino is part of Invicta FC, the second is Rousey‘s belief that she is still using steroids. … Yep, it looks like real progress between both sides is being made. Book your tickets now,” Foss joked following Cyborg’s comments.

Despite the obstacles, White may be wise to officially bring in Cyborg and milk some pay-per-view fights out of both her and Rousey against other opponents before matching them up.

Rousey needs legitimate competition in order to maintain her sky-high interest long term. Cyborg is precisely that, and pitting her against Rousey would help UFC do some of its best pay-per-view numbers in history.

Ronda Rousey is an extraordinary athlete because she’s the picture of beauty and athleticism. She is from sunny California but more interestingly she is also Venezuelan.

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey said she’s proud of her cultural heritage and is especially glad that she now has a platform to showcase her roots.

Rousey, along with Miesha Tate, Chris Weidman, Anderson Silva, Travis Browne, Josh Barnett and UFC President Dana White spoke at a UFC 168 Press Conference on Thursday.

In response to a media question asking about her racial background, Rousey said she is proud to be a Venezuelan and excited that she has so many Latino fans.

“It’s really, really flattering,” Rousey said at the press conference. “It feels great. When I was younger people wouldn’t believe I was half-Venezuelan. I don’t look like it. I look like my dad. I never really got any cultural recognition as a kid. It’s kind of a shame that people treat you how you look like.”

Now, it’s a different story, Rousey said.

“It feels great, especially my mom and her whole side of the family is super excited about it now,” Rousey said. “I have a lot of cousins and stuff still in Venezuala now. It’s really nice to have a venue to be able to regain a connection with my roots.”

Rousey will fight Tate in the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC 168 card. The two have one of the sport’s most intense rivalries. Rousey tapped Tate out with an armbar in Strikeforce in 2012 and the two have been verbally feuding ever since. The two women co-hosted The Ultimate Fighter earlier this year, which only further fueled the rivalry.

Rousey said she has not watched a single episode of the show because she felt as though she was made out to look like the villain to Tate’s heroine role on the show. Also at the press conference, Rousey said her feud with Tate helped give women’s MMA the spark it needed to gain the attention of UFC President Dana White.

UFC Heavyweight contender , a former boyfriend of UFC mega-star Ronda Rousey, recently sounded off on the rumors that Rousey is dating married UFC Heavyweight star , a man accused of domestic violence in the past, something Schaub did not hesitate to mention.

Schaub commented on the Rousey-Browne affair rumors on the latest edition of his podcast, noting Rousey comes off as a hypocrite for talking so much in the media about boxing champion ’s history of domestic abuse while dating someone who is not only married, but has been accused of similar domestic abuse incidents in the past.

“It’s tough when you’re like, ‘uh don’t be a do-nothing bitch’ and you hate on [Floyd] Mayweather, and then your boyfriend’s over here beating the shit out of his wife,” Schaub said. “And not to mention, he’s still married. So it’s tough when you’re a role model.”

What is your opinion of Ronda Rousey?
