It’s football season again!

Traditional football weekends call for finger foods and naturally various styles of chicken wings.

Here’s my twist on traditional chicken wings.

What’s cooking in your kitchen?

Asian Wings

2 lbs. of chicken wings
1 orange (squeezed, juice reserved)
2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
½ cup of raw sugar
1 cup of teriyaki sauce
½ cup of green onions (garnish)
Olive oil
Sea salt
Black pepper

1. Wash and pat dry chicken.
2. Pre-heat oven at 400 degrees
3. Cooking Tips: add an aluminum pan with 2 inches of water and place in oven this will create steam and help keep chicken moist.
4. Drizzle olive oil on chicken wings and generously sprinkle sea salt and black pepper.
5. Coat chicken wings with reserved orange juice, teriyaki sauce, garlic, and raw sugar.
6. Toss together making sure the marinade is covering chicken wings
7. Cook at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
8. Plate and top with green onions.
