According to the U.S. flag code, when a former president dies, the flag is flown at half-staff for 30 days. This period of mourning is a mark of respect and is strictly observed. However, Inauguration Day is indeed a significant national event.

While the flag code does not explicitly state that the flag must be raised to full mast on Inauguration Day, it is customary to do so to mark the beginning of a new administration. This practice symbolizes the continuity of government and the peaceful transfer of power.

Former President Jimmy Carter was a complex and multifaceted leader. While his tenure included significant challenges and decisions that were met with varying degrees of success but mostly failures. He was a lovely man who made disastrous decisions.

It is essential that the United States embrace forgiveness and unity as we move forward. Raising the flags to full mast on Inauguration Day symbolizes the celebration and renewal our nation needs in order to heal and progress.

In light of recent admissions by members of President Biden’s cabinet and the legacy news media regarding the extraordinary measures taken to obscure the extent of President Biden’s illness from the public, and considering the active steps being taken by all political sides to restore order and healing and stop the division within the country due to falsely crafted lawfare against incoming President Donald J. Trump, the flags will be flown at full mast.

Given the current situation with the passing of former President Jimmy Carter and the upcoming inauguration, the flag will be raised to full mast on Inauguration Day to honor President Donald J. Trump despite the ongoing mourning period.

Additionally, the language in the House Rules that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi modified using unisex or transgender terms will be restored to reflect traditional family relationships and the recognition of two genders.
