Andre Jorge Tamine invited two girls in their twenties to join him on an all expense paid cruise around the world. A million photos of the girls appear all over the web but not a single image of Andre Jorge Tamine can be found online (except for the one we found). Is he a Saint or a Sinner?

By Ruthie DiTucci

Three Canadian passengers – 22-year-old Melina Roberge, 28-year-old Isabelle Lagace, and 63-year-old Andre Jorge Tamine (all from Montreal, Quebec, Canada), boarded The Sea Princess Cruise Ship at the British port city of Southampton, England.  The ship was built in 1998 by Fincantieri Rieste Italy and its California based owner/holding company is Princess Cruises. The cruise for the trio would be the trip of a lifetime, lasting two months and ending in Australia.

Now the authorities reveal that there were 7 traveling together. They have believed always that this was not a group of friends traveling together but rather the plans of a professional drug cartel.

The Sea Princess cruises under the Bermuda flag, is armed with a crew of 910 and can host anywhere from 2,014 to 2,017 guests. The ship was last remodeled in 2015. The three drug smugglers somehow got 200+ lbs. of cocaine on the ship and all of it was found in their luggage only.

Video provided by the Australian Government’s Dept. of Immigration and Border Protection. We added no audio as it is an official documentation of the search.

The cruise ship stopped at a multitude of Central and South American ports before reaching Australia for the last leg of the so called 66 day trip so authorities were not sure of a few details but they were definitely armed with a great deal of Canadian Police Intelligence compiled within the last 10 years.

This photo most appropriately depicts the girls’ future. In Jamaica, locals braid your hair. In Latin American port stops, face painting always offers “Day of The Dead” makeup.

Once the ship was berthed at the Australian port, on the 51st day of the 66 day cruise, the Australian authorities who had been working with American Home land Security Agents and Canadian Border Agents, brought drug detecting dogs aboard and had the dogs pass by all 2,000 cabins. But the authorities already had these three in their scopes, long before their arrival.

When the dogs stopped in front of a cabin shared by Roberg and Lagace, the dogs signaled their handlers that there were drugs in the room. The search of their suit cases resulted in the find of 35 kilograms of cocaine and the dogs also stopped and sat in front of another cabin occupied by the 63 year old Andre Jorge Tamine. A search of his luggage resulted in the find of 60 kilograms of cocaine.

The three were more or less ambushed by Australia’s dog sniffing task force. The trio did not get to disembark onto Australia’s shore.

The Australian authorities search resulted in the find of about $23 million dollars worth of cocaine.

Australian Border Force Commander Tim Fitzgerald told the press that this was the largest narcotics seizure there had ever been in Australia of drugs carried in by passengers traveling by cruise ship or airlines.

The trio appeared before a judge on Monday morning. The three will remain behind bars until October 26, their next scheduled court appearance.

Roberg, Lagace and Tamine did not apply for bail and the Judge formally denied bail anyway.

Fitzgerald told the reporters that the three were part of a very sophisticated and very organized drug syndicate and that this particular ship, considering its port of calls was already suspect as it was. The three, if found guilty (which looks very likely) will be joining the Australian prison population. Its numbers are as follows…

Australian adult prisoner numbers continue to rise…

  • The number of prisoners in adult corrective services custody increased by 7% from 33,789 prisoners at 30 June, 2014 to 36,134 at 30 June, 2015.
  • The national imprisonment rate was 196 prisoners per 100,000 adult population, a 6% increase from 186 prisoners per 100,000 adult population in 2014.

Unsentenced prisoners increase by 21 per cent…

  • The number of unsentenced prisoners in adult corrective services custody increased by 21% from 8,213 prisoners at 30 June, 2014 to 9,898 at 30 June, 2015. Sentenced prisoners increased by 3% from 25,513 to 26,163 prisoners.

An assistant commissioner of Australia’s strategic border command, Clive Murray, told the press that the incident demonstrated international co-operation in the fight against world-wide drug trafficking professionals.

“These drug syndicates should be on notice that the Australian Border Force is aware of all of the different ways they attempt to smuggle drugs into our country and we are working with a range of international agencies to stop them,” he said.

One of the many aspects of the investigation being conducted surrounds whether the three boarded the ship with the drugs in the UK (unlikely) or whether they picked the drugs up along the trip’s various South American ports of call i.e., Colombia, Ecuador, Peru or Chile.

Then again, the authorities are investigating if the three had help from cruise ship employees already aboard the ship or perhaps even ship related land based workers before the three boarded the ship at the Southampton, UK port or if they received inside help from cruise ship employees along the way.

On the matter of vigilance, Clean Cruising allows anyone to view any ship’s current location no matter where the ship is (either on the sea or in port) in real time. The company also offers real-time views of the ship’s port and aft webcams. There is even a 24/7 camera running on the bridge on all ships. The webcams generally auto-refresh every 60 seconds. That means that all ships can be monitored ’round the clock. Additionally, ships routinely carry thousands of CCTV cameras in their public areas.

The more interesting aspect of this story is that all three suspects are from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Photos of the two beautiful young bikini-clad women have been distributed and published on websites internationally, but not a single photo of the 63 year old Andre Jorge Tamine appears in any of the articles.

While we were unable to find current photos of the 63 year old Andre Jorge Tamine, SNN.BZ did find an interesting advertisement on Facebook posted five years ago in 2011. This advertisement may lead to how these pretty young women wound up traveling with a man 40 years their senior.

If the 63 year old Andre Jorge Tamine is being protected (hence his photo not shown) it is likely because he was possibly working with the authorities. There must be a reason why Canadian and Australian authorities are not divulging his photo. However, hundreds of people were on that ship and they very likely saw Tamine with the two young beauties.

Many passengers must have taken Andre Jorge Tamine’s photo during this cruise when they saw him accompanying these babes. And whenever people see a young beautiful girl(s) and in this case – two of them – with an older man, the joke has always been “She’s with him for drugs or money.”

People will be people and there is no way that hundreds of other passengers didn’t take pictures of these three if only for the sheer reality that the 63 year old Andre Jorge Tamine was living the life that most men admire.

And if Andre Jorge Tamine is actually a narc, or had gone through with this voyage knowing the authorities were already on to them, there again, the authorities can’t stop the hundreds of passengers sailing on the same ship with this trio from having taken pictures of these girls and the 63 year old Tamine. If not today, his photo will show up in public photos eventually.

Currently, all that is known about (or all that people will say) about Andre Jorge Tamine, 63 is that he lived alone in a suburb of Montreal. He’s reported to have always lived alone in a small apartment and earned his living by running a commercial cleaning business.

Isabelle Lagacé, had a secret past as a porn model. Her father Jacques Lagacé said he had no idea who the 63 year old Andre Jorge Tamine was.

Isabelle Lagacé had a serious porno life before she left on the cruise.

Isabelle Lagacé earned a living via porno for some time

More importantly, if he is a narc or was turning state’s evidence it means he took the trip, enjoyed the best days of his life knowing that in the end, he was delivering these young girls to the end of their lives.

Francois Bonnardel, a Brandy politician has known Isabele’s father for over 20 years.

xrayThis is a wake up call for any parent or relative whose youngster announces he or she has won a free all expense paid trip. Unless the trip was won from a legitimate source such as a church raffle, state lottery or some other legal method, one should warn young people that the ruse is likely crime related. Thousands of innocent young people are used as mules all the time. Sadly, they often die along the way when the capsules they’ve swallowed burst in their intestines and enter their blood stream.

And Australia in particular, is no joke when it comes to bringing commercial amounts of drugs into their country. Their “light sentence” is “life in prison.”

If you sailed on the Sea Princess on the same cruise with this trio, we seek photos of the 63 year old Andre Tamine aka Andre Jorge Tamine. He is the man the two girls boarded the Sea Princess in the UK and were on the ship for two months to various locations. Send images to [email protected]

Everything we turned up in researching for this story is circumstantial, but all together, these facts offer a highly interesting set of repeated “coincidences.”

coke26An advertisement was posted five years ago on a Facebook account owned by a man by the same name as the man arrested with the two young drug traffickers in Australia.

He uses his account stating he either works for or he owns a vacation rental business which is operating in the Montreal, Quebec, Canada downtown business district.

[Left] Facebook photo of Andre Tamine.

The young man in the photo seems to be anywhere from his late twenties to mid-thirties. That leads us to believe that the photo is that of either Andre Tamine’s son or nephew by the same name. Then again the fact that they are both from Montreal, Quebec, Canada could be a total coincidence. Then again, maybe not!

The five year old advertisement was posted on Facebook December 13, 2011 and it offered that anyone renting one of their beautifully furnished vacation rental apartments would be eligible to “win a free trip for two to Miami” and that “the prize included round trip airfare from anywhere in the world…”

That free airfare offer from anywhere in the world may be how this organization recruited 22-year-old Melina Roberge and 28-year-old Isabelle Lagace (and who knows how many others) to what was actually a drug mule job and not just a free, all expense paid vacation.

I visited the website attached to the Andre Tamine name myself and was prompted by an “instant chat” initiated by an employee or owner on the site asking me if I needed any help setting up a vacation.

The site is working perfectly well and their offerings are now for four luxury vacation rentals. They no longer offer a Miami, Florida apartment rental but the set up shows there was a Miami offering.

If I am mistaken, then I just gave away great free publicity to this Montreal, Quebec, Canada vacation rental business and if I am right then we should begin to connect the dots.

Canadian authorities might or might not be looking for this young man to see if there is a connection between the two men who happen to share the same name, and if there is a connection, they should question how many people actually won the “free airfare for two” prize (and how often).

It’s possible that the free trip for two to Miami promotion was just a ploy to bring in people wanting the free travel, not realizing they’d be transporting drugs.

The reason that possibility occurs to me is because in the seventies and eighties, the Village Voice Newspaper in New York City advertised hundreds of courier jobs where one would receive free round-trip airfare if one would allow NYC law firms sending documents to European law firms to use ones luggage to carry the documents.

On arrival at Gatwick (the most popular British airport at the time), a representative from the agency would take ones luggage to the law firm. Having an individual literally bring the documents ensured the documents arrived for trials already underway in European courts. It was imperative that the documents arrive without interruption.

Courier companies are well paid for delivering things quickly. Frequently, time is very important with business documents, spare parts for an urgent repair, or an item critical to prove a case.

On some routes, the larger companies have their own planes, but for other routes and smaller firms the companies face the obstacle of getting the items through air freight and customs. Getting an item through customs could take days, weeks or months.

The fastest legal way to get an item through is to send the piece as checked luggage accompanied by a human being.

Courier companies routinely book one seat each way, every day on flights between two major business centers. For example, from New York to Hong Kong or New York to Singapore or Sydney. The seats are always economy class, generally on major airlines, and usually booked on a flight that departs in the evening.

Being a courier for documents or repair parts was a very cheap way to travel. The only thing you had to supply was your accommodations and if you have friends in your destination city – then you merely feed yourself.

The Facebook vacation rental website advertising a “free round trip to Miami from anywhere in the world” originally offered vacation rentals for five apartments but they now offer ONLY three luxury apartments. The site also offers an “Executive Stays” listing but it shows no photos and they no longer post a Miami apartment. That doesn’t mean they don’t offer it – it means they no longer post it on their website. Here is the website page connected to Andre Tamine…

Since it has been our experience that Facebook pages are removed when scrutinized, we copy the pages in case they choose to take them down. Here are the pages attached to the name of Andre Tamine…

The apartments do not belong to an agency or a corporate business entity. We contacted the luxury apartment rental business and they immediately made contact through their insta-chat. We asked if they “owned” the apartments for third parties and they responded saying “we own them.”

If it is true that Andre Tamine (whom happens to share the name with the man just arrested with two young girls in Australia with 200+ lbs of cocaine) owns these spectacular pieces of real estate, then we’re talking about a “business organization” that is as large as any modern day corporation.

The only other thing posted on websites all over the world attached to the name of Andre Jorge Tamine are the lovely bathing suit beauties found with commercial amounts of cocaine in their luggage that will result in Australian life prison sentences.

And at the risk of being politically incorrect, all eleven (11) listed friends of Andrew Tamine on Facebook happen to be from the middle east, more specifically Aleppo, Syria.

Artistes du Levant is where the young Andre Tamine says he “works.” That happens to be an art gallery. Other than this gallery, the only thing his Facebook page advertises are the “free round trip airfare for two to Miami.”

Within days of the news getting out throughout Montreal that the three cocaine mules had been arrested in Australia, Karim Abu Aichi decided to post a “GoFundMe” account to raise money to pay Melina Roberge and Isabelle Lagace’s legal fees accrued by this awful drug transport saga. GoFundMe “terms of service” frown on the site being used for the involvement, help or advancement of criminal behavior.

Karim Abu said Aichi

Karim Abu Aichi, 31, launched a short lived ‘Go Fund Me’ page for the defense of Isabelle Lagace and Melina Roberce. The page has been pulled.

Who is Karim Abu Said Aichi?  And why would it even occur to him to interfere with this case? He was arrested in 2011 with 24 others in connection under “Operation Carcan,” an operation targeting the Hells Angels on the South Shore of Montreal. He was convicted in 2013 and sentenced to two years in prison for conspiracy, drug trafficking and gangsterism.

Meanwhile, the Sûreté du Québec, known as the Quebec Provincial Police (QPP).noted for the first time in 2011, that Canadian and Quebec-based whom was looking for (and found) Karim Abu Said Aichi (Robinhood trying to use GoFundMe to help the girls) had many friends. Here are just a few of them and their current status…

The QPP were investigating cocaine traffickers and noticed an interest in Australia, during an investigation targeting individuals linked to the Hells Angels and an Irish organized crime group in Montreal.

lavoieDuring a May 2011 hearing, a Sûreté du Québec (QPP) investigator explained that in Australia and that region of the world, a kilogram of cocaine cost three times as much as it did in Canada “because of the difficulty of getting it into Australia.”

The investigator noted that in their probe, one of the members, Frederic Lavoie exchanged encrypted text messages with an individual who asked him if he had any drug mules available to send to Australia.

Last year, El Tiempo newspaper in Colombia reported that a dismembered body was found in Sabaneta, Colombia. Federal officials analyzed the body parts and informed Quebec provincial police that the dismembered body parts belonged to Lavoie. He had entered Colombia with a false Bahamian passport in the name of Roberto Clementi Major.

At the time, he was among more than 100 people sought by provincial police in a massive anti-drug operation launched in 2012 against bikers, the Mafia and their associates.

Within the last five, perhaps ten years, The Vancouver Sun, The Vancouver Province and The CBC have been reporting on this matter.

Timoleon Psiharis

The published articles and reports revealed that the Colombian officials analyzed the body parts and linked them to Lavoie “before” contacting the Quebec provincial police.

The QPP had been looking for Lavoie during their massive anti-drug operation launched in 2012 against bikers, the Mafia and their associates.

Investigators suspected that Lavoie’s brutal murder was an act of revenge since he was the second fugitive from the drug ring to be murdered in a grisly fashion.

Previous to Lavoie’s murder, his accomplice, 29-year-old Timoleon Psiharis, was tortured, doused with acid and beaten to death in Greece. Psiharis’s body was found in a ditch.

According to local police, Lavoie left his Montreal condo when police showed up to arrest him. He was one of almost a dozen reputed drug kingpins who managed to flee the police raids. The drug ring operates under the Hells Angels and the Irish mafia.

Their organization was suspected of importing massive amounts of cocaine from Mexican cartels and Police believed the ring brought 75 kilos of cocaine to Canada on a weekly basis between March and October 2012.

It’s believed Lavoie’s murder was a settling of accounts.  It was reported each kilogram of cocaine could be worth $160,000 in Australia.

Obviously his name is not Andre Tamine. No photos! Total coverup for someone flipping to help the gov. Damn shame the press doesn’t look into this and report the truth.

  • Your pictures have all the wrong descriptions the girl with the man is Roberge and Bonnardel deputy knows Roberge’s father because Roberge is from the Granby region, not the other way around! At least give the good information!

Very odd they arent showing this guy anywhere,,,,

  • Galileo

Where are the photos of Andre Tamine? Some kind of cover-up?

  • Cuentame Paisano

What a shame that these two beauties will now spend a long time behind bars. All because of their desire to get something in exchange for a short period of pleasure.

    • Darth Vapor

They should have just become strippers, like all the other coke whores. One of them was already doing pornos.

  • This story is incredible … it opens the door to so many questions, such as: Where did the drugs originate? Where were they going to be distributed? And most of all, WHO ARE THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE?

Well written. It has the feel of a mystery novel, but true.
